@thomascannon.me Call me crazy, but I don’t think you need to need to do a fireside chat with someone who:

• Threw a hissy when he wasn’t invited as the keynote speaker
• Started his own foundation to gild his castle & sycophants rather than work with others

@thomascannon.me - Use said foundation to throw his own conference that directly competed with the previously established community one you are running and celebrating

• Has continued to be adversarial with the folks your org actively wants to bring into the community to improve our diversity

@thomascannon.me - Has also pushed away multiple long-term contributors to said framework, in their own words
