• pre-seeding entire cities/states worth of restaurant data for an e-commerce app
• performance edge cases, loaded only when needed and squirreled away in their own files
• demo data for system tests-based marketing screenshots

• per-developer local dev environment seeding, so everyone has their own sandbox they can play it and rebuild on a whim
• local development example data for new features (“reseed my org to see this feature in action”
